開經偈

佛經所說的「經」，是實語者、如語者、不妄語者。

實語者，絕對是真理。因為是真理，所以與善心相應，不是妄語。妄者，不實也。

如語者，就是法爾如是，本來如此。

「開經偈」的「開」，即誠心誠意的全面接受，整個身心與經典內容合而為一，叫做「開」。「開」即法華經「開佛知見」的「開」，信佛為法華，開佛知一切。

「偈」就是幾句話聯在一起的頌讚。

開經偈的四句話是：

無上甚深微妙法，

百千萬劫難遭遇；

我今見聞得受持，

願解如來真實義。

無上甚深微妙法：

       就是至高、至廣、至大、至深、至微、至極，形容佛法的不可量度、不可臆測。也就是儒家說的：

惟精惟一

易經說的：

絜靜精微

百千萬劫難遭遇：

       人生難得，佛法難聞，釋迦牟尼佛宣揚佛法時，幾乎都強調：

一旦遇到任何一部經，皆是歷劫修行、累積善根而得的福報。所以人生在世，要絕對珍惜自己，面對佛法，更是不可蹉跎歲月，隨便錯過。

我今見聞得受持：

       因此，自己能接觸到佛法，福報真是大極了，應好好受持並努力實踐。

願解如來真實義：

       就是發心去洞悉釋迦牟尼佛所說的種種真實意義在哪裡。

結論：

       有千千萬萬人說在學佛，也有許多人早晚在念經。反省自己一下，究竟有幾人真正做到「開經偈」啊？真的做到「開經偈」，就生生世世沒有問題了。

The Dharma incomparably profound and exquisite

Is rarely met with, even in hundreds of thousands of millions of kalpas;

We are now permitted to see it, to listen to it, to accept and hold it;

May we truly understand the meaning of the Tathagata's words!
